There has never been a time on earth without the Church, because since the creation of man it has always been. This is somewhat of an abstract concept, and being finite in nature we have a difficult time grasping a thing with no parameters, with no containment; with no boxes, or sides or walls. We are not totally spirit thus it is hard for us to grab the spiritual. But the Church is totally Spirit. It is totally within the heart of God and thus it has no shape or form. It lies within that space and time continuum that man is not totally able to reach.

The Church is God’s relationship with man. Every change in God’s relationship with man recorded in the Bible is a change in God’s relationship to the Church; as if it were the development of a fetus in the womb. It appears that the Church started with the conception between God and the elements of the womb we call earth. As the egg was the earth and the sperm was the creating hand of God; God placed His seed in the earth and conceived man…the first member of the Church. Scriptures name this creation “Adam” meaning manor the one formed from the earth, ground, or soil¹. This man was given dominion and was to tend the earth. God created the womb (earth) and then put man into it. It was a perfect conception.

The Womb of Woman

However, it seems that the propagation of this creation was to be by another means. It appears to move from the hand of the creator to the seed of man. Thus God created a being like the one Adam with the exception that this being was the earth in man’s form. He called this creation woman meaning a female-plus-man human being¹. Scriptures name this woman “Eve”, meaning a living being, or ‘to live’¹. She was the first living being created from God’s conception of Adam.

This unique creation was now to be God’s gateway to the earth. She was to be the mother of all that was to come. She would be the vessel by which God could send His will for the Church to the earth and clothe it in the anatomical part of mankind; thus the constant barrage of destruction against the womb and what it brings forth. Satan pitches his tent at the gateway of life (the womb). If he can’t destroy God’s agenda at its inception he will attempt to destroy it after its birth.

Spiritual Hormones

During the time following its beginning with Adam and its propagation by Eve you can almost watch the Church developing in the womb. Each stage seemed to be determined by what could be termed Spiritual DNA. There were Spiritual hormones made up of individuals who seemed to have had this very unusual relationship with God which allowed them to be in virtual constant communication with Him. It was as if they were in the very same room with Him and literally shared in His every thought. It seemed as though they went beyond what we experience today and were privy to the heart of God. Individuals like Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Samuel, David, Solomon, and others must have sat at the round table of God.

            At Age of Two

Just as a fetus develops in the womb so has the Church. It is as though the church has been in gestation. There is no need for us to record the stages of gestation for they have already been recorded. Even the birth of the Church has been recorded; His name was Yeshua, (Jesus). God was among the people.

The church of today is the evolutionary product of that Church; and like a child this Church was maturing. It was to span the ages from newborn to adult. However, something happened to this child at the age of two.

This Church of this Son of promise was not ever intended to be housed in tabernacles made by man, with strangling, legalistic rules as if it were the laws of government. Regrettably, man was given dominion over the earth and that included this new born Church: from the time of Constantine in the second century after the birth. Satan had pitched his tent at the womb of this Church. He couldn’t abort it nor could he kill it, but he certainly diverted it and put it in the hands of that which he controlled…man.
